Crock Pot BBQ
Crock Pot BBQ Makes a great meal! Easy, delicious and very little clean up. A great entre for preparation while you are at work. The kids and their friends absolutely love this one!
Ingredients
- Approximately 6 lbs. roast (Pork, Beef, Turkey, or Wild Game)
-
18 oz jar of Big Moe's Barbeque-Sauce
-
3/4 cup of water
-
Note: Reminder that depending on the type of roast, a good portion of the weight can be lost due to fat cookoff.
Directions
- Pour water and 1/2 of the bottle of Big Moe's Barbeque-Sauce into crock pot (NOTE: Truth is, this recipe works great in the oven if no crock pot is available)l
- Add roast - top with remaining BBQ sauce
- Set heat setting to "Low"
- Slow cook until bones can be lifted out of the meat cleanly (about 8 hours)
- Pour off juices
- Pull/Shred meat apart with fork (or fingers!)
- Add remaining 1/2 of the Big Moe's Barbeque-Sauce to the shredded meat
- Mix well. Perform 2-3 small taste tests...add more Big Moe's if needed!
- If mixture is too dry for preference, mix in small amounts of water until desired consistency
- Serve on oven toasted hamburger buns (or plain fresh sandwich buns). Note: One pound of cooked meat serves approximately 4-6 sandwiches.
